BCA members came together for a lively afternoon at their annual bowling event, organised by Cameron Singleton. The event gave members the chance to relax, network, and enjoy some friendly competition away from the boardroom.

The event proved to be a highlight of the club’s social calendar. After several closely contested games, it was Chris and Matthew who emerged as the day’s winners, showcasing both skill and consistency to claim victory.

At our recent Business Club Ayrshire meeting, Dave Wilkinson, Managing Director of Launch Digital, delivered an inspiring presentation highlighting his company’s journey, values, and contribution to the local community.

Founded in 2012, Launch Digital has grown into a leading creative agency providing branding, web design, SEO, Google Ads, and social media management. Dave shared how the company’s hands-on approach and commitment to quality have helped build long-lasting relationships with clients across Ayrshire and beyond. He also highlighted several BCA members he has worked with, showcasing the collaborative spirit and mutual support that strengthen the local business community.

Last week at Business Club Ayrshire, Stewart Fulton of Fortress Alarms delivered an engaging and informative presentation to fellow members. Drawing on his extensive experience in security systems, Stewart explained the latest developments in alarm technology, including smart monitoring solutions and integrated protection for homes and businesses.

He also shared practical advice on preventing break-ins and safeguarding valuable assets. Members appreciated his clear, professional approach and the real-world examples that brought the topic to life. Stewart’s talk not only showcased the capabilities of Fortress Alarms but also reinforced the importance of robust security in today’s fast-changing environment.

Business Club Ayrshire enjoyed a fantastic day of golf at the scenic West Kilbride Golf Course last Friday. Members and guests gathered in the clubhouse for a welcoming roll and tea or coffee before heading out onto the course for a friendly yet competitive round.

The event offered a great opportunity for local professionals to network and golf in beautiful coastal surroundings. The day concluded with a well-earned dinner and a lively prize-giving ceremony.

Congratulations go to Kerr Dale and Grant Herron, who emerged as the overall winners with an impressive performance on the course.

From pressure washing and window cleaning to graffiti and gum removal, Flamingo offers a full suite of exterior cleaning solutions for residential and commercial properties.

Recently, members came together to supply and lay new gravel, helping to repair and improve the garden pathways used daily by residents and visitors. This hands-on effort reflects BCA’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting social enterprises like River Garden, which plays a vital role in addiction recovery.

With a rich background in healthcare, Joy transitioned from a 20-year nursing career to become a McTimoney Practitioner and CranioSacral Therapist. Her practice emphasises the body's innate ability to heal through optimal spinal alignment and holistic therapies.

Joy's approach integrates physical and spiritual health, drawing from her extensive training in complementary therapies. She has a particular focus on supporting pregnant women and children, especially those affected by early-life trauma.

In 2020, Joy rebranded her practice to Aligned with Joy, reflecting a renewed commitment to holistic well-being. Her presentation resonated with the club's ethos of mutual support and professional growth, offering valuable insights into alternative health practices.

Joy's dedication to healing and her innovative approach to health care make her a valuable member of the Ayrshire business community. Her work exemplifies the club's mission to foster collaboration and continuous learning among local businesses.
